Pixon is a low-tech manual communication board program which uses a unique symbol set created as a language generating system. The icons, or 'Pixons', are a unique combination of Minspeak icons and Single Meaning Pictures (such as PEC or PCS).

The program promotes provision of access to 50 to 200+ permanently available, high frequency, re-usable core words. In total, there are 4000 Pixons available for language generation!

Pixon is a fantastic communication and language strategy and works as:

• a teaching tool to teach language concepts prior to transitioning to a high-tech speech generating device.

WiVik 3 is an onscreen keyboard that allows you to use a pointing device or automatic or switch scanning to select keys to type into any Windows application. Select predicted words or use abbreviation-expansion to reduce keystrokes. The keyboards are available in 22 languages and over 50 keyboards are included within the package.

The curriculum consists of 3 different instructional components: Word Wall Lessons, Making Words with Icons lessons, and Making Words with Letters lessons. Each component is supported by 25 structured lessons and the package includes a CD that contains printable color support materials. Designed for use with Vantage, Vanguard and Pathfinder.
